This online guide for using the EBSCO Mobile App will help you download and install the app (which is free for any VDOT employee), connect to the VDOT Research Library, then continue your research projects with EBSCO databases even when you’re on the go, thanks to syncing across desktop and mobile devices.

This mobile app searches all of VDOT's EBSCO subscriptions, including: Business Book Summaries, Business Source Corporate Plus, EngineeringCore eBooks, BusinesCore eBooks and Harvard Business Review Press eBooks.That's literally tens of millions of articles, ebooks and summaries, plus, users can read or listen to the content they discover.

Using the app you can link to premium full-text content, view it in PDF and HTML (depending on what format is available for each work), and download and read EBSCO eBooks to your heart's content.  You can also pull up recently viewed items, run recent searches and save them, find new content based on your previous activity, synchronize files with your normal computing device, share links to full-text items with friends and colleagues at VDOT.

The Transportation Research Board's 100th Annual Meeting starts tomorrow!

Due to the health risks posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's meeting will be conducted as a virtual event throughout the month:

Committee Meetings: January 5–8 and 11–15
Sessions & Exhibits: January 21–22 and 25–29

This year 26 VTRC scientists and research assistants, and 21 other VDOT employees are authors or co-authors of 47 presentations at TRB events/sessions, workshops, and committees, of which, 31 are poster presentations. In addition, 7 VTRC personnel and 5 other VDOT personnel will preside at 22 events/sessions, workshops, receptions, committees, and subcommittees.
