TRB announced a new partnership with National Academies Press (NAP) on the hosting and dissemination of many of the electronic versions of its publications.
The partnership is designed to expand the number of people exposed to TRB products, to enhance TRB’s ability to identify and track the impacts of its research programs, and to allow for users to be advised when new, similar publications are available.
So what will this change mean for you?
Effective immediately you may notice when you click on a link to full text for some TRB publications (like NCHRP reports), you are now prompted to enter your e-mail address and accept the "terms of use" (see image above) before the freely accessible document displays. You will also have a chance to check the option "Send me an e-mail when similar titles are published."
A video is available so that you can familiarize yourself with the new process. Questions? Contact the My TRB help desk at MyTRB@nas.edu.
