Understanding ORCID

This guide provides information about ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier) and its utility for researchers at the Virginia Transportation Research Council (VTRC) and in other parts of VDOT.

Registration Takes 30 Seconds...

  1. ​Go to http://orcid.org/ click "Register now"
  2. Enter your personal information and agree to "Terms of Use"
  3. Click the "Register" button
