If you're a fan of the Transportation Research Board's classic TRB E-Newsletter (I've been subscribed for years!) to keep up with news and current events in transportation research, we've got bad news and good news.
The bad news is you have already received your last and FINAL copy of the E-Newsletter. Why, you may be asking?
That brings us to the good news, that TRB's longstanding newsletter is being redesigned, will reside on an improved online distribution platform, have new functionality, and a new name: TRB Weekly.
According to TRB, the new "TRB Weekly" will offer enhanced deliverability, usability, and readability. They go on to note: "Whether you've been getting our older newsletter version for years or are a new subscriber, you can look forward to seeing great content on transportation research from around the world as well as TRB activities and news in your inbox every Tuesday. Stay in-the-know no matter where you access your email."
However, there's one really important thing you need to know so your subscription is not interrupted: TRB states the new TRB Weekly will reside on a whole new online distribution platform from what was used for the old TRB E-Newsletter. TRB will not be using the mailing list currently used for the weekly newsletter.
Once you're in the MyTRB system you can easily select the topics you are most interested in being informed about, and if you even change your mind later you can re-set those topics, or pause your subscription at any time.
