Adapting to COVID-19

This quarter we found that most of the items the library has out on loan remained out as most patrons still have not returned to work, thus have no convenient way to ship items back to us. Those that have come back (primarily P.E. Exam study materials) were on "hold" by other patrons so are getting turned around almost immediately. In addition to existing collections we acquired and cataloged 15 new P.E. Exam study items listed as "required" by NCEES. Another 23 "supplemental" items were ordered.

The table to the left adds the total number of print items borrowed by each district/division of VDOT (752) to items "checked out" or "renewed" by UVA personnel and others (14), creating a hard copy borrowing total of 766.

The table below adds the number of downloads from the library's virtual collection this quarter to the circulation from the library's print holdings for a total of 3,484 items borrowed or accessed this quarter.
