The Quick Search option provides an easy-to-use form that helps novice and expert searchers locate relevant information quickly and easily. You can also chose other search screens, including: Expert Search, Thesaurus Search, Author Search or Affiliation Search.  The benefit of Quick Search is that it is fast and easy to use. 

From the opening search screen, select "Search" and specify "Quick" as the search option. 

Next, type in your search terms, select the databases to search (again, both Compendex and Knovel are selected by default) and finally, click the magnifying glass to start the search.
