Cataloging, Collections and Technical Services
This quarter a significant effort was made to develop the controlled vocabulary for the new library website. An internal guide was created to assist in the process and to help clarify the various terminologies used. Time was also spent welcoming an orienting new staff member Amber Anglada and training her on a variety of tasks including monthly onboarding. Gil Kenner attended and gave updates on the progress of the new library site to several Research Advisory Council meetings this quarter at VTRC as well. Upon his departure, outgoing VTRC director Jose Gomez left a substantial number of items to the library which were cataloged and added to the collection.

The table below adds the number of downloads from the library's virtual collection this quarter to the circulation from the library's print holdings for a total of 3,286 items borrowed or accessed this quarter.
