Spotlight: Library Creates Staff Lounge Page

This quarter we rolled out the Library Staff Lounge, accessible only to library staff logged in to LibGuides. The site integrates all kinds of links, including: Training resources, sections of VDOT's SharePoint site, specific UVA resources, calendars, and more. We are creating guides for library procedures, processes and back-end activities (17 so far) to help us stay efficient.

Followed By: Staff Only FAQ!

Following our successful rollout of the Staff Lounge, we created a "custom group" using LibAnswers FAQ. We call this group Library Staff FAQ. Its contents are only visible to staffers, who can create a new FAQ, or update an existing FAQ. We're making this the first stop for staffers to check for answers to obscure questions or unusual situations that might occur in the library.
